The 2020 Tokyo Olympics are scheduled to be held from July 24 to August 24, 2020. The games will be held at the newly constructed Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium (now known as the Samsung Olympic Stadium). The schedule of events has been released, and there are 18 sporting events, several demonstration events and a number of cultural events.
